What we collect when you use this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
MH Commercial Finance Ltd (FRN: 1043866) is the data controller for information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16737210, with a registered office at 124–128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are an appointed representative of White Rose Finance Group Limited (FRN: 630772), who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form, we collect the details you type into it: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the type of finance you're asking about, the amount, and anything you write in the message box. We don't ask for financial or identity documents through this website.
We don't track you. This site uses no analytics, no advertising tools and no tracking cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser's storage on your device — it isn't sent to us and doesn't identify you. Our page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of serving them.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to look for finance on your behalf. In data protection terms this is either steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch.
Who else sees it
Lenders, where you've asked us to approach them about your case — and only the lenders relevant to it. White Rose Finance Group, as our principal firm, for compliance oversight of the advice we give. Netlify, who host this website and process enquiry form submissions on our behalf.
We don't sell your information, and we don't pass it to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead anywhere are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Where we arrange finance for you, we keep the case file for six years, because financial services rules require records to be kept for a period after the advice is given.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it's wrong, or ask us to delete it — though we may have to keep some records for as long as the rules above require. You can also object to how we're using it, or ask us to restrict that use. Email harley@mhcommercialfinance.co.uk and we'll respond within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page. This version was published on 28 September 2026.
